Alpha-Cure takes environmental compliance seriously and continuously monitors regulatory and best practice developments to ensure its products conform with the latest environmental standards. The information below outlines the key elements of Alpha-Cure’s environmental strategy and compliance position regarding RoHS (European Union Directive on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

To ensure compliance with this directive, we implement specific strategies and in cooperation with our suppliers, we deal with the current and evolving regulatory requirements.

RoHS3 (EU)

The EU RoHS3 rules are designed to restrict the use of certain hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment. Alpha-Cure is fully aware of these rules and monitor the latest developments in legislation and best practice and business management system guidance.

Alpha-Cure UV discharge lamps made in our product range as designed by the prefix “AC-“and “ACP-“ are in compliance with European Union Directive (RoHS Directive), 2011/65/EU (RoHS2 Directive) and 2015/863/EU (RoHS3 Directive) of the European Parliament with respect to the following substances.
