Last month, Alpha-Cure employees formed a team and took part in the 56 Mile Run challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The challenge was to run (or walk) a total of 56 miles from the 1st to the 28th of February.
Total Money Raised
Seven volunteers from Alpha-Cure took part in the challenge and together they raised an amazing £660.52 plus £75 in Gift Aid. This is a fantastic total for Cancer Research UK, which was only made possible by our hard-working challenge team members!
- Ashley Foster: £75.00
- Berenika Bond: £45.00
- Chloe Wilson: £120.00
- Lucy Atherstone: £20.00
- Paula Cherry: £250.52
- Rebecca Peterson: £40.00
- Richard Cherry: £110.00
An Additional Donation!
We are delighted to announce that Alpha-Cure Directors Steve Haines and Mark Slater are doubling the donation to bring the total to a whopping £1,360.52!
Thank You!
We want to thank our volunteers who took part in the challenge and everyone who donated! Every penny helps fund scientists, doctors, and nurses to help beat cancer, which is the leading cause of death worldwide.
What’s Next?
Alpha-Cure is always keen to get involved in charity events to help the community. Keep an eye out for our next fundraising challenge!
