Tarsus Group, the organiser of the Labelexpo Global Series, announced on Tuesday that Labelexpo Europe 2022 has been rescheduled for next year. Labelexpo Europe is now taking place from the 11th to the 14th of September 2023.
Industry Challenges
The decision to reschedule Labelexpo Europe was made after close consultation with exhibitors, associations, and the wider industry. Many of whom are directly impacted by the shortage of materials triggered by the pandemic.
Long lead times have been disrupting supply chains across Europe and escalating shortages. The growing situation in Ukraine has further exacerbated the problem.
Insurmountable
Acknowledging the support from the industry and the commitment to the event, Labelexpo Managing Director, Lisa Milburn said, “we have been working tirelessly to overcome the supply chain issues,” and that it was a very difficult decision to make.
FINAT managing director, Jules Lejeune, voiced his company’s support for the decision to reschedule Labelexpo Europe. He stated that the shortages and geopolitical uncertainties meant there were too many hurdles to overcome.
Upcoming Events
Labelexpo Europe’s new schedule means the next industry event will be Labelexpo Americas, which will take place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago from the 13th to the 15th of September 2022.
Other upcoming Labelexpo events this year include:
- Labelexpo Asia: 28th June – 1st July 2022
- Labelexpo India: 10th – 13th November 2022
- Labelexpo South China: 7th – 9th December 2022
