World Cancer Day: Alpha-Cure Joins in To Raise Money for Cancer Research UK

World Cancer Day

Friday 4th February 2022 is World Cancer Day, which focuses on the prevention, detection and treatment of Cancer. Thankfully, doctors and scientists know a lot more about cancer today than ever before but more funding for research is needed to help save millions of lives every year.

February Challenge: Run 56 Miles

Alpha-Cure‘s employees are always looking at ways to support our community and noteworthy charities so we have joined with the February challenge, “Run 56 Miles,” to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Join us on our journey on the Alpha-Cure team page and follow the progress of our volunteers who are running (or walking) a total of 56 miles from the 1st to the 28th of February 2022! We will be sharing their progress throughout the month so follow us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter to stay up to date.

If you would like to make a donation, you can sponsor one (or more) of our team members through their individual fundraising pages and help us raise as much money as possible for cancer research.

To support our volunteers the Directors, Steve Haines and Mark Slater have kindly offered Alpha-Cure will match-fund the total that is raised for this Challenge to double our donation!

A Worthy Cause

There are many types of cancer and 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. All of us can support the research that will beat it and perhaps one day, we will live in a world free of cancer!

Best of luck to our volunteers and we thank each and every one of you for supporting them during this challenge.
